Manjusri Secondary School is a Buddhist secondary school located at Ubi Avenue 1, Singapore.
Its Current Principal is Mr Low Chun Meng and it's Vice-Principals are Ms Lim Lin Lin and Mdm Grace Phua Yin Lin.
The school was set up by the Singapore Buddhist Federation in 1982, in the school's old campus, located in Sims Drive, the Kallang area of Singapore. In 2009, the school moved to a new campus which was officially opened on 22 April 2010. The move allowed the school to share resources with it's affiliated primary school, Maha Bodhi School.
The new school campus contains three blocks, namely the Teaching Block, the Special Technical Block as well as the Co-Curricular Activities Block. The Teaching Block, which consists a total of 5 levels, contains all the classrooms of the school. Also found in the teaching block is the school's General Office, Staff Room and the School Hall on levels 1, 2 and 3 respectively. The Special Technical Block, or often shortened to the "Special Block" is where the many laboratories of the school is located. Such laboratories includes the different Science Labs and the Computer Labs. The Design and Technology studios can also be found in the Special Block, widely spread out across the first level. The Co-Curricular Activities block, or "CCA Block" for short, is home to the rooms of mostly the uniformed-grouped Co-Curriculum Activities (CCA) of the school. These includes the NPCC Room, NCC Room, Girl Guides Room, as well as the Scouts Room and den.
The school also has a "learning street", on ground level in between the Teaching and Special blocks. Previously containing many science-related equipments, Manjusri's learning street is now down to just a few items, including the Pond where much aquatic life can be found.
The school celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2012. The annual school anniversary concert was held in April 2012 at the LASALLE College of the Arts in conjunction of the school's 30th Anniversary. In November, the school organised a Home-Coming dinner to wrap up it's 30th anniversary, where Mr Heng Swee Keat, the Minister of Education was invited as the Guest-Of-Honour. Alumni, Teachers past and present, as well as current students were invited to this event.
